Job Description
Purpose and Responsibilities of the Position
This role supports the sales department in all areas of operational business to ensure the achievement of sales objectives. At the same time, it serves as the connecting function to all other departments within the company.
Key Responsibilities
* Independent and comprehensive handling of our project orders after customer purchase orders
* Support of national and international customers throughout the order process; acting as the main point of contact for technical inquiries and changes, and as the interface to the production plants
* Use of negotiation skills both with customers and internal departments regarding delivery or special requirements
* Reviewing and developing technical documents and control system drawings
* Responsible for scheduling and active deadline tracking of customer orders
* Acting proactively as an interface (Customer, Sales, Engineering, Production) and communicating order status both internally and externally
* Preparation of export documents
* Handling transactions with customs authorities, chambers of commerce, and freight forwarders
* Entry and maintenance of master and order data in the ERP system
* Preparation and management of statistical analyses for quotations
* Involvement in project work
Qualifications
* Successfully completed technical training or a degree in industrial engineering (or equivalent qualification), ideally with professional experience in order processing within an industrial company
* Experience in reading and interpreting control system diagrams is desirable
* Professional experience in order processing
* Confident use of English, both spoken and written, for effective collaboration with international customers and colleagues
* We are looking for a team player with a hands-on mentality and customer orientation who enjoys working independently and in a structured way
* Sales-oriented, independent, and responsible working style
* Strong communication and organizational skills
* Very good knowledge of MS Office tools and sales support software
