For our client Airbus Defence and Space in Manching, we are seeking a qualified PDT Co-Development Engineer (m/f/d) for a temporary staffing position, starting as soon as possible. In this challenging role, you will optimize and harmonize end-to-end workflows across the entire product lifecycle – from design and production to in-service support. Your tasks
6. Transversal Integration : Linking and integrating cross-functional activities across all physical views – from engineering (design & analysis) through manufacturing (system development & industrialization) to the in-service area for Air Power.
7. Team coordination : Coordination of multi-functional teams involving integrated product teams (IPTs) in a PMTD solution based on co-design principles.
8. Workflow optimization : Analysis and linking of all business requirements in a unique E2E workflow to optimize processes through simplification and compliance with industry standards.
9. Digital continuity : Ensuring digital collaboration between engineering and manufacturing functions in coordination with operational planning (OP).
10. V&V activities : Management and control of the integration, verification and validation of PMTD solutions at the intra-IPT level.
11. Local collaboration : Leading the collaboration between internal teams (quality, configuration, engineering, manufacturing, services) as well as coordinating with external stakeholders (e.g. Dassault Systèmes 3DX and functional architect teams).
12. Future-proof solutions : Definition of solutions that support current programs in fulfilling their obligations and guarantee a smooth transition to long-term solutions for future programs.
Your profile
13. Studies: Master's / Diploma degree in Engineering / Aerospace
14. Professional experience: Practical experience (over 4 years) in Design Engineering, Engineering, Aerospace, Manufacturing Engineering, Project Management
15. Essential: Background in PMT (Process, Method, Tools) activities in engineering, manufacturing, or in-services. Experience in new product development.
16. IT expertise:
Essential: Practical experience with 3DX (3DEXPERIENCE) / CATIA V5
Experience with VPM or PLM system tools
17. Fluent in German and English
