Key Responsibilities:
* To provide a high level of pre-sales and technical support to our DACH customer base
* To support the European sales organisations on product demonstrations and evaluations at customers premises
* To help existing channels with project design and dealing with specifications / quotations
* To liaise with both Sales & European Technical departments to ensure product knowledge is fully up to date and awareness of all product deletions / end dates / new product dates to ensure up to date solutions are given to client at all times
* To provide detailed, accurate and timely reporting on all pre-sales activities, product and customer issues
* To support the incoming calls from distributors and channel customers
* To follow up leads from CRM database or exhibitions
* To follow up on marketing incentives or product promotions
* To be a conduit between BDM and Technical support allowing a much more coordinated approach to customer interaction
* To improve our customer service/customer interaction
* To improve the management of our inbound calls
* To follow up cold calls/new leads (new business generation) & pass qualified leads to Key Account Manager/BDM
* To attend important project meetings with the European sales team
* To provide on-site support at all levels
* To manage loans (sample units)
* Any other ad-hoc duties as deemed necessary by the Country Manager
Requirements:
* A proven track record in a similar pre-sales role
* Extensive experience within a CCTV pre-sales and technical environment
* Full working knowledge of CCTV products specifically in relation to IP product range
* Full working knowledge of Visio / Cad or equivalent schematic drawing programmes
* An Engineering Degree Level Education would be advantageous
* PC Literate - Intermediate & Advanced ‘Microsoft Office’ skills to include Excel & PowerPoint
* Excellent verbal and written communications skills
* A desire to make a positive impact on the market and brand recognition
* Ability to work both on own initiative and as a team player
* Ability to communicate on all levels in a clear and concise manner both verbally and written (electronically)
