A leading Tier‑1 main contractor delivering major data‑centre projects across Europe is seeking an experienced MEP Lead to oversee the full mechanical and electrical delivery on a large‑scale mission‑critical development in Frankfurt. This is a senior site‑based role with responsibility for driving technical excellence, programme performance, and coordination across all MEP systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the full MEP delivery from pre‑construction through commissioning and handover.
* Manage MEP engineering, installation, testing, and commissioning activities across all mechanical, electrical, and specialist systems.
* Coordinate closely with CSA, design, commercial, and commissioning teams to ensure seamless integration of all building services.
* Oversee subcontractor performance, ensuring adherence to programme, quality, and safety standards.
* Review technical submissions, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
* Drive weekly coordination meetings, resolving technical issues and ensuring clear communication across all stakeholders.
* Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to maintain schedule certainty.
* Support procurement, tender reviews, and technical evaluations for MEP packages.
* Ensure all MEP documentation, QA/QC records, and commissioning plans are delivered to the highest standard.
* Act as the primary point of contact for MEP matters with the client, design teams, and subcontractors.
Requirements
* Proven experience as an MEP Lead, MEP Manager, or Senior Building Services Engineer on large‑scale construction projects.
* Strong technical understanding of mechanical and electrical systems in mission‑critical or high‑tech environments.
* Data‑centre experience is highly desirable.
* Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and fast‑paced work fronts.
* Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
* Experience working with Tier‑1 contractors or design‑build environments preferred.
* English required; German language skills are an advantage.
