Role Summary
The PMO Manager will lead governance, reporting, and coordination for a large-scale PLM transformation program aimed at replacing legacy systems and establishing a unified engineering platform. This role ensures structured execution, risk control, and alignment across business, IT, and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
* Set up and manage the Program Management Office (PMO) for the PLM transformation initiative
* Oversee program timelines, milestones, and deliverables across migration, process design, and rollout
* Drive governance cadence including steering committees, reviews, and planning sessions
* Maintain executive dashboards covering progress, risks, KPIs, and key decisions
* Track cross-functional dependencies (migration, processes, training, rollout readiness)
* Manage risks, mitigation plans, and escalation frameworks
* Coordinate with vendors and ensure alignment with internal teams
* Facilitate backlog prioritization and planning with business and IT stakeholders
* Ensure proper documentation, decision logs, and action tracking
* Monitor program financials including budgets, resource utilization, and forecasting
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in managing large-scale enterprise transformation programs (PLM/Engineering systems preferred)
* Strong expertise in governance, risk management, and program reporting
* Experience working with global stakeholders across business and technology teams
* Familiarity with Agile and structured project delivery methodologies
* Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, IT, or Business Management
* PMP / PRINCE2 / Program Management certification preferred
* Experience in automotive, industrial manufacturing, or engineering domains is a plus
