We are seeking a part-time Outreach Manager to start in January 2026.
This role focuses on science communication for a research project, involving translating complex research findings into accessible content for various target groups. The position also entails editorial responsibility for research-related content, drafting press releases, articles, and editorial contributions, preparing cross-media content on economic research topics, expanding and managing social media channels, conceptualizing new communication formats, and communicating research in non-academic formats.
* Key Responsibilities:
o Science Communication:
+ Translate complex research findings into accessible content
+ Editorial responsibility for research-related content
+ Drafting press releases, articles, and editorial contributions
The Outreach Manager will be responsible for organizing and coordinating smaller events, workshops, and roundtables, as well as supporting the organization and implementation of larger conferences.
* Event Management:
o Concept Development and Planning:
+ Develop concepts and plans in coordination with internal stakeholders and external partners
o Organization and Coordination:
+ Obtain quotes and coordinate with service providers
+ Manage contact data, invitations, participants, and speakers
o On-site Support:
+ Coordinate schedules and stakeholders
+ Welcoming and taking care of participants
Award-winning experience in science communication and event management is highly desirable.
