* Leading contract negotiations with software vendors to secure optimal purchasing conditions and identify potential savings.
* Conducting market analyses to optimize procurement strategies and manage IT resources effectively.
* Managing and maintaining purchased and registered software licenses, including ensuring license compliance and data integrity.
* Reviewing and validating commercial data to maintain an overview of costs and budgets.
* Applying IT Asset Management (ITAM) strategies to optimize IT resources and improve business outcomes.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A completed degree in economics, business administration, computer science or a corresponding education with several years of professional experience in procurement.
* Ideal job-relevant additional qualifications, such as negotiation training or BME courses in procurement.
* Strong system and process understanding, as well as practical experience with ERP and e-procurement systems.
* Extensive experience in IT asset management and basic data knowledge.
* Able to cooperate, sociability, and conscientiousness.
* Proficient use of MS Office applications.
* Very good English skills, both written and spoken.
