We seek Solution Architects for Business Solution Area Handling and
Storage at IKEA Warehousing Logistics, located in Dortmund.
About the job
The team within the Business Solution Area “Handling and Storage” is responsible to develop and support all Solutions needed to operate a logistic unit. With Solutions we mean the tools used to run and develop our business - supported by information technology.
We ensure that the IKEA Handling and Storage Solutions fit in the overall digital landscape - in line with guiding
frameworks like security, enterprise architecture and information management.
We are looking for Solution Architects for our portfolio of Warehouse Management
Solutions, Base data- and Material Flow Control Solutions. As a SolutionArchitect you will create high level designs of IT solutions, guide the low level design and govern the implementation and provide in-depth expertise about Solutions, technology and their implementation at IKEA.

About the assignment
In this role you will:
* Shape ideas in close collaboration with relevant internal and external stakeholders into concrete, robust and appropriate solution architecture and
transition roadmaps.
* Communicate the Solution architecture- and transition roadmaps to relevant
business and IT
stakeholders within and across organisations.
* Seek understanding
and agreement to ensure
aligned and consistent solution
implementations across the IKEA
Solutions.
* Ensure that the solution
architecture and roadmaps complies with relevant policies,
principles, rules and standards.
* Coordinate and align solution design
towards other system and initiate change requests.
About you
To be able to perform in this position we believe
you have:
* Working
experience in Information Technology and experience in application
architecture
* Understanding
of frameworks such as The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF), the
IT4IT component model, ITIL and other software modelling techniques
* Familiarity
with current concepts, industry standards and trends (application
architecture concepts and reference architecture) including agile
development e.g. SCRUM
* Basic knowledge
and skills in business development, requirement management and test methods
* Interest and
ability to travel within Europe as well as intercontinental
As a person, you have strong analytical skills - being able to
structure information and derive conclusions and consequences out of them. You
have passion in listening, coaching and facilitating and have good
interpersonal as well as intercultural skills. You show openness, willpower,
drive and are motivated by working in a fast pace environment. You are a team
player with a business mind and you understand the importance of building a
