Disciplinary and professional management of four accounting teams: general ledger accounting, invoice auditing, travel expense accounting and sales accounting.Strategic development of the teams, process optimization, and ensuring compliance with internal and external rules and regulations.Ensuring proper accounting practices, including the preparation and auditing of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS, HGB and tax law requirements.Responsibility for the correct recording of all business transactions and reconciliation of the general ledger and subledger accounts.Creation and delivery of group reporting packages in SAP including intercompany reconciliations and support of the consolidation process in close collaboration with the Global Head of Accounting & Reporting.Coordination with external auditors and tax advisors as well as internal audit; development and maintenance of internal accounting guidelines and standard processes.Responsibility for cash management and payment transactions; liquidity planning and cash flow reporting for the German company.Managing the transfer of operational activities (audits) to international Business Service Centers, including ongoing coordination with the BSC in Vietnam.Initiation and implementation of digitization and automation projects in accounting, including ERP optimization in SAP and introduction of digital financial tools.Continuous analysis and optimization of existing accounting processes (efficiency, data quality and compliance)Ensuring compliance with the internal control system (ICS) according to group standards; support with risk assessment and control testing.Close collaboration with the HR department and close coordination with FP&A Your profile
Completed studies with a focus on finance/accounting, completed further training as a certified accountant (m/f/d) or comparable qualification; additional professional qualifications (e.g. CPA, ACCA) are advantageous.Several years of professional experience in finance and accounting, proven experience in a management role, ideally in an international/industrial environment.Sound knowledge of accounting according to IFRS and HGB as well as tax-related accounting requirements; experience in preparing annual financial statements.Experience with SAP (FI/CO modules) is mandatory; very good MS Office skills, especially Excel.German as a native language, fluent English skillsStrong leadership personality with the ability to motivate and develop teams in a dynamic, international matrix organization.Analytical thinking skills, high accuracy, structured working methods and strong communication skills.Experience in change management, the transfer of shared service center activities, and digitization projects is a plus.
