Lead Generation Business Development Role

About the Job
You will be responsible for driving acquisition activities, including sourcing and nurturing target companies by identifying leads, maintaining industry contacts, developing prospecting campaigns, and presenting high-potential opportunities to our internal M&A team.
* Develop and execute lead generation strategies to identify and qualify potential targets
* Maintain and build a proprietary database of industry contacts
* Create and implement prospecting campaigns across digital media, outbound cold calling, email sequences, in-person meetings, and industry events
* Present high-potential opportunities to our internal M&A team and support progression to NDA or deeper evaluation
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A proven track record in business development, lead generation, or outbound sales with a focus on B2B software or fintech
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to confidently navigate gatekeepers and initiate conversations with founders and C-level executives
* 4+ years of experience in a similar role, with a strong analytical mindset and sound business judgment
* Ability to manage a pipeline of leads and consistently exceed outreach and engagement targets
* Fluency in English, with German being an asset
* A proactive approach to work, with a willingness to travel up to 20%
