We are seeking an Operations Manager, Area Manager Logistics, Data Analyst or comparable as a Station Area Manager.Operations is the beating heart of Amazon. This key part of our business ensures we fulfil and dispatch orders efficiently so that customers receive their items on time. As a Station Area Manager, you’ll ensure sites run smoothly to meet customer demand. You will review station KPIs and processes, manage stakeholders, and drive projects across the network to improve safety, efficiency and quality.ResponsibilitiesCreate, oversee, and drive a culture of safety and wellbeingAnalyse and implement changes to maintain high quality and productivityOversee projects to streamline processes, optimise productivity and increase service quality for customers in your areaAnalyse station performance against business objectives and implement actions to improve operational excellenceCollaborate with management-level colleagues to standardise practicesA day in the lifeYou’ll typically work early shift (start at 6:00 am) and ensure sites are productive. Your focus will be to own and drive a culture of safety, uphold quality and station performance standards, oversee process improvements, and drive implementation. A typical day includes stakeholder management, daily operational responsibilities, process improvements and wide-scale contingency tasks.About The TeamAmazon Extra Large (AMXL) manages heavy items like furniture and large home appliances. The team handles the entire service from supply chain fulfilment to delivery and returns, including unpacking, installation, and removal of old items where needed. The focus is on safety, productivity and innovation as we grow specialist fulfilment centres and delivery stations across the UK and Europe.Basic QualificationsRelevant experience in a logistics or data-driven environment (e.g., as Operations Manager or Data Analyst)Relevant experience in stakeholder management or people managementExperience using data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisionsAdvanced proficiency in verbal and written English and GermanPreferred QualificationsA university degreeExperience with Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen techniquesExperience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environmentAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
