Aufgaben
The role and what you will do
We are looking for an unpaid Backend Developer Intern to join our remote team. We have key team members in Berlin, Germany and Graz, Austria. Those locations are preferred but you can work remotely from anywhere. This traineeship is designed for students who want to gain real world experience in cloud backend development and see how a consumer app runs in production.
You will
* Work with our CPO/CTO on backend features for our infrastructure
* Support the development of APIs
* Help improve performance, reliability and observability
* Learn the fundamentals of secure and scalable backend architecture
* Contribute ideas for data pipelines, analytics and system design
This is a training focused role. You will be guided closely and get hands on experience in a fast moving startup. The hours and duration can be agreed flexibly based on your school requirements and your study schedule. This role can fulfill mandatory internship requirements.

Anforderungen
What we look for
* Basic experience with backend development, ideally Node and JS/Typescript in general
* Some familiarity with AWS services or similar cloud stacks
* Curiosity and willingness to learn
* Ability to work responsibly and independently with guidance
* Student status at a university or applied sciences institution
