Job Description
As a (Senior) Inhouse Application Consultant - DevOps, you will take responsibility for our CI/CD systems and be a member of the R&D Software Development Team, working closely with Engineering to further develop our products.
* You will support the implementation of strategically important IT projects and act as a key interface between Global Software Development / IT Operations and the business units.
* Your core tasks include optimizing the software-development-infrastructure as well as evaluating and introducing software engineering tools.
* You will drive our DevOps processes forward (On-Premise / Cloud) and contribute your own ideas.
* You will monitor compliance with DevOps processes and maintain close communication with the teams, ensuring software quality at all times.
* You will administer our Continuous Integration and Deployment systems and advocate for our DevOps-culture within the team.
Qualifications
* You have successfully completed an academic degree in Computer Science, Natural Sciences (e.g., Bioinformatics, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics), or a related field. Alternatively, you have vocational training and/or experience in DevOps topics or related areas.
* Ideally, you have expertise in at least one scripting language such as Python or Groovy, as well as knowledge in areas like Linux, Windows, and macOS server administration, Ansible, cloud infrastructure (e.g., Azure), or tools like the Atlassian Suite, Jenkins, and JFrog Artifactory.
* You enjoy contributing your own ideas and working in international teams.
* Ideally, you are comfortable communicating in English and thrive in an international environment.
* You are eager to grow and develop alongside us in a rapidly expanding company.
