We are seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and processing supplier invoices, booking incoming payments, and reconciling accounts.
This is a challenging position that requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. As a Financial Accountant, you will work closely with internal stakeholders, customers, and suppliers to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions.
The successful candidate will have a degree in Accounting or Finance, several years of experience in finance and accounting, and proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel). Knowledge of IFRS and Belgian local GAAP is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
* Review and process supplier invoices
* Book incoming payments and bank statements
* Reconcile supplier and customer accounts
* Support monthly closing activities for accounts payable and receivable
* Handle special cases such as prepayments, down payment requests, invoice cancellations, expense analyses, and other ad-hoc analyses
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting or Finance
* Several years of experience in finance and accounting
* Excellent English and German skills
* Good Dutch and/or French skills are an advantage
