IT Infrastructure Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled IT infrastructure specialist to join our team. As an IT infrastructure specialist, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows and Linux servers in a virtualized environment.
Key responsibilities include:
* Server Management: Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers in a virtualized environment (VMware/Hyper-V)
* Network Administration: Manage LAN/WAN networks, including switches, routers, and firewalls; monitor network performance and security
* Backup & Recovery: Develop disaster recovery plans and ensure business continuity
* Software Management: Install, configure, and update company software as well as manage licenses
* Monitoring: Utilize monitoring solutions (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix) to monitor system availability and performance
Required skills and qualifications include:
* Completed vocational training as an IT specialist for system integration or comparable qualification
* At least 3 years of professional experience in system administration
* Solid knowledge of: Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP; network technologies (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPN); virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V); backup solutions (Veeam); security solutions (firewalls, etc.)
* Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking abilities
* Teamwork skills and the ability to work independently; strong communication skills
