Job Overview
The role of Legal Advisor involves providing expert legal advice and support to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough legal research in various areas, including European law, contract law, data protection, animal testing, state aid, and intellectual property.
* Analyze and identify potential legal risks and implications.
* Draft, review, negotiate, and administer contracts, particularly research-related agreements.
* Verify and propose solutions for identified risks.
* Liaise with researchers and external representatives from collaborating parties.
* Collaborate with colleagues across different levels within the organization, focusing on technology transfer, data protection, procurement, taxation, human resources, academic affairs, students' affairs, finance, and others.
* Manage ad hoc legal assignments.
* Contribute to developing internal procedures and overarching projects, as well as shaping organizational policies.
* Stay updated on new laws and regulations affecting the organization.
