Professionalising software development by introducing structure, testing frameworks, version control, modular architectures and quality assurance processes.
Driving productisation by creating standardised hardware and software building blocks that reduce complexity and enable efficient scaling.
Leading and developing the engineering organisation across software, PLC/controls, system design and product management.
Ensuring strong alignment with Sales, Project Execution and Service to secure deliverable and serviceable technical solutions.
Managing resource allocation within the engineering and software teams to balance customer projects with internal development.
Acting as technology authority in leadership forums, contributing to strategic decisions, investment priorities and long‑term product direction.
10-20+ years in technical leadership roles in automation, software, controls, system engineering or mechatronics.
~ Experience leading multi‑disciplinary engineering teams at scale.
~ Strong understanding of software development maturity, PLC/controls and engineering architecture.
~ Ability to work in a project‑driven, high‑complexity environment without losing speed and pragmatism.
~ Fluency in German and English.
