The Malteurop Group, a French parent company, is the world leader in malt production with a production capacity of 2,200,000 tonnes. One in ten beers sold worldwide is brewed using malt from our plants. With seven malting plants, including three in Germany, the Germany/France business unit is one of the European leaders.
We are looking for an employee (m/f/d) in the area of logistics and receiving to strengthen our team at our Rostock location.
Under the supervision of the operations manager, you will be entrusted with the following tasks:
Customer & supplier support and delivery processing
Support for suppliers and service providers m/f/d
Order processing/follow-up and documentation in SAP
Processing of deliveries and shipments/pick-ups in accordance with Malteurop Germany's acceptance conditions (e.g. requesting certificates, processing delivery/customs documents and freight papers, etc.)
Preparation and delivery of malt delivery documents to transport companies
Checking malt transport vehicles for suitability with regard to permitted previous loads and GMP guidelines
Clarifying irregularities with transport service providers
Operating the weighbridge
Carrying out all necessary measures for checking and documenting the raw materials received
Supplier contact (e.g. information on delivery conditions and safety rules, etc.)
(Further) processing of raw materials/products/co-products
Carrying out all necessary measures to check and document the raw materials, malt and co-products received
Ordering services (bagged goods, courier services, etc.)
Sampling and quality control of grain, malt and any by-products (e.g. analysis of protein content & water, visual and odour checks)
Other internal responsibilities
Ensuring good communication with the silo department regarding the loading of malt and the acceptance of raw materials
Assistance with internal projects
Performing tasks to ensure occupational safety
Operating the access system as required (e.g. door openings, barriers/gates, etc.)
Administrative tasks
Sending samples of malt/barley/co-products to external laboratories and associated documentation
Written documentation of processes
Switchboard and visitor registration
Other administrative tasks
Required knowledge:
- Training in the commercial sector, preferably in logistics
