Hauptaufgaben
* Operate Cash Registers: Scan items and process various customer payments, including cash, checks, credit cards, and coupons.
* Manage Self-Checkout Stations: Assist customers with self-checkout equipment, resolve scanning problems, and maintain change machines.
* Verify Patron Identification: Check customer identification cards prior to purchase to ensure they are authorized shoppers.
* Process Shift Financials: Count cash register funds and prepare accurate financial accountability reports at the end of each shift.
* Support Inventory and Pricing: Verify shelf prices against electronic price files and update physical price tags on store shelves.
* Assist Store Customers: Answer customer questions, bag merchandise, and distribute promotional flyers or coupons.
* Perform Clerical Duties: Assist with light typing, document filing, returning items to shelves, and keeping register areas clean.
Qualifikationsanforderungen
T5-2091-3:
Applicans must possess at least Hauptschulabschluss PLUS 1/2 of general experience PLUS 3 years of job related experience as defined below.
General Experience: Simple work in an office or store that does not require knowledge in a specific field of work.
Job related experience : Experience in the operation of a cash register to record prices, proper accounts, purchase totals, surcharges, and giving change. Creditable experience must show ability to answer questions and complaints of customers and be able to independently determine proper prices by unit marking, price lists, or memory.
