The Universities of Cologne and Bonn, the MPI for Radio
Astronomy, and the FZ Jülich are establishing the new Clus-
ter of Excellence "Our Dynamic Universe". The coordination
is located at the I. Physics Institute in Cologne.
YOUR TASKS
Scientific coordination of the Cluster of Excellence and all
related tasks, including:
» Preparation of scientific content (e.g. from astrophysics)
for popular science purposes, websites, etc
» Creative development and implementation of new for-
mats for scientific collaboration and communication
» Organization of conferences, collaboration meetings,
workshops, colloquia, and similar events
» Support in preparing scientific funding proposals
» Independent coordination and close collaboration within
the team
YOUR PROFILE
» You hold a degree (Master's, Doctorate, or PhD) in phys-
ics, astronomy, or a related field
» You have a broad interest in astronomy and data sciences
» You are creative, responsible, and able to work inde-
pendently as well as in a team
» You have experience in creating and maintaining websites
» You possess excellent communication skills
» You are fluent in spoken and written German and English
» You have knowledge of LaTeX
» Ideally, you already have experience coordinating large
projects, organizing conferences or workshops, and pre-
paring scientific funding applications
