Controls Lead / Senior Planner – Life Sciences / Regulated Manufacturing (Freelance) We are supporting a major regulated manufacturing programme in Germany with the appointment of an experienced Controls Lead to join a client-side project team on a long-term basis. The Role You will lead project controls activities across a live life sciences CAPEX programme, working closely with engineering, delivery, and senior stakeholders. Construction planning is managed separately; your focus will be on schedule control, integration, and delivery readiness, contributing to the overall master schedule and downstream readiness activities. Background we’re looking for We are open on job titles and organisational background, but experience in regulated life sciences environments is essential. Relevant experience may include: Controls Lead, Senior Planner, Project Controls Lead, Planning Engineer 5+ years’ experience within pharmaceutical or life sciences projects Strong exposure to commissioning, qualification and validation (CQV) Experience in cleanroom and sterile / aseptic manufacturing environments Facilities and process equipment planning and controls Experience supporting complex manufacturing or production systems Titles are flexible — controls leadership and regulated experience are not.
