You’ll be part of a development team that is focused on our open-source Terraform Provider and Kubernetes Operator, which are both written in Go. The development work is generally split between solving customer requests, implementing roadmapped features and doing technical improvements.Your Responsibilities Will BeWriting high quality, maintainable code and releasing quality featuresPerforming peer reviews and participating in technical discussions both at the team level and engineering levelAdvocate for improvements to software quality, security, and performanceContribute feature design, system architecture, and product roadmapHelping investigate and resolve customer issuesMentor and empower other engineers around youMust-haveExcellent development skills in GoExtensive experience in production software environmentsUrge to write useful automated testsFluency in English, verbal and writtenNice to haveExperience with one or more IaC solutions (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)Experience with orchestration tools (Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc.)Experience in developing a Terraform Provider or Kubernetes OperatorExperience in back-end development with PythonProduct-mindedness, focusing on customer valueDon’t worry if your experience doesn’t line up perfectly – we still encourage you to apply!
