Role Summary - As the Director of Energy Storage, you'll take full strategic and operational ownership of the company's commercial storage division. This is a high-impact role where you’ll define business strategy, lead product direction, and drive market expansion across Germany and the DACH region. You’ll also be responsible for aligning cross-functional teams to ensure delivery, innovation, and long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute the business strategy for residential and commercial energy storage systems.
* Drive market growth through product development, go-to-market planning, and commercial execution.
* Analyse market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity to inform decision-making.
* Strengthen sales and customer support structures across target regions.
* Lead external partnerships, commercial agreements, and supplier relationships.
* Build and manage a high-performing team across product, sales, and engineering functions.
* Foster a culture of innovation, ownership, and high performance.
* Represent the brand externally with partners, stakeholders, and industry bodies.
What We’re Looking For
* A strong technical understanding of energy systems, batteries, inverters, or similar renewable technologies.
* Expertise across sales, business development, or product marketing in a technical environment.
* Senior leadership experience within cleantech, battery technology or advanced hardware-based sectors
* A strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, capable of leading cross-functional teams and scaling operations.
* Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Fluency in English is required. German proficiency is highly desirable.
