As part of the Business Technology Platform Experience Organization (BTPX), you shape the future of SAP’s next generation, industry-leading cloud platform products. We offer a highly collaborative team environment with a strong focus on learning, recognition for initiative and individual contributions.
The Role:
As a (Senior) User Experience Design Specialist (f/m/d), you will be part of our cross-functional design team, collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance user experiences for administrators, developers, and software architects. Your focus will be on creating design concepts and validating them with end-users, especially for our main cloud administration UI – the BTP Cockpit.
Your tasks may include:
* Creating useful, high-quality user journeys, design concepts and prototypes with Figma.
* Planning and conducting user research and usability tests, translating findings into actionable design improvements.
* Ensuring the created design adheres to SAP's user experience consistency standards.
* Collaborating with your UX design colleagues, product managers, and developers to deliver solutions that meet user needs.
* Supporting building a user-centered and insight-driven culture within the team by sharing insights in team meetings and advocating for user feedback in design decisions.
What you bring:
* 5+ years of hands-on experience in user experience design, including interaction design and user research.
* The ability to rapidly understand complex platforms and technical requirements, utilizing domain expertise to create clear, user-centered designs.
* Experience with SAP Design System is a plus.
* Excellent communication skills in English, with proficiency in German considered an advantage.
* A portfolio showcasing previous design work is a mandatory requirement for this application and must be included as part of your submission.
