Intro Role Summary EUSMS seeks a creative and detail-oriented volunteer to design and deliver the organization’s annual Impact Report in close collaboration with the CFO Office. You will work alongside research associates (who curate best practices) and data experts (who supply quantitative inputs) to turn complex information into clear, compelling, and visually engaging report formats. This role is ideal for a graphic designer who enjoys translating data and narratives into impactful visuals that resonate with diverse audiences. How This Role Supports Our Mission Clarity & Transparency | Communicate our impact in a clear, accessible, and professional format Storytelling | Elevate data and research into visuals that highlight outcomes and best practices Visibility | Strengthen trust with stakeholders, funders, and partner organizations Tasks Core Responsibilities Design & Layout // Lead the visual design of the Impact Report (digital-first, PDF-ready, print-friendly) Collaboration // Coordinate with CFO Office, research associates, and data experts to align narrative, data, and visuals Data Visualization // Create infographics, charts, and visuals that simplify complex findings Brand Consistency // Ensure design aligns with EUSMS branding and professional standards Iteration // Incorporate feedback from leadership and team members to refine drafts Requirements Must-Have Skills Graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, or equivalent) Data visualization (charts, infographics, visual storytelling) Strong sense of layout, typography, and brand consistency Ability to structure and present complex content clearly Benefits What You’ll Gain Portfolio-worthy project: Own the design of a flagship Impact Report Experience collaborating with CFOs, researchers, and data experts Exposure to global nonprofit operations and impact communication Recognition in the published report as a contributing designer
