Our client, a Private Equity–backed Business Management Software Vendor, is looking for a Director of Marketing to lead demand generation and support new system sales across its SME and mid-market portfolio.
The Role The Director of Marketing will be responsible for planning, executing and optimising marketing programs that generate pipeline and support revenue growth. Working closely with sales leadership, BDR teams and product marketing, you will align marketing with both inbound lead qualification and outbound prospecting activity.
Key Responsibilities Develop and execute the marketing strategy, plan and budget to support new logo acquisition and cross-sell revenue targets. Lead and develop a high-performing marketing team focused on pipeline growth. Monitor pipeline performance and campaign effectiveness, delivering insights and adjusting GTM initiatives accordingly. Deliver demand generation programs, including: Digital marketing & SEO Account-based marketing (ABM) Paid lead services & buyer directories Events, trade shows and webinars Email and nurture campaigns Social media campaigns Intent-based and signal-driven marketing tools Align closely with BDR teams to optimise lead quality, outbound targeting and CRM processes. Work with product and marketing teams to develop content that supports the buyer journey, including whitepapers, webinars, campaigns and sales materials. Support M&A initiatives, including market research, due diligence and onboarding of acquired businesses.
Ideal Background Marketing leadership experience within ERP, SaaS or business management software Strong demand generation and pipeline marketing experience Experience aligning marketing with BDR / sales development teams Data-driven mindset with strong CRM and marketing automation knowledge Experience in high-growth or PE-backed software environments is advantageous
