About the Role :
Our client seeks a highly motivated Software Engineering Manager to lead and inspire a dynamic team of engineers working on innovative software solutions. This role is fully remote within Germany and offers a competitive salary package, including bonus opportunities. Key Responsibilities :
* Lead and manage a talented team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
* Oversee the design, development, and delivery of scalable, reliable software solutions.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including AI, product management, and hardware engineering, to define and execute development roadmaps.
* Implement best practices for software development, including agile methodologies, code quality, and DevOps processes.
* Mentor and develop team members, supporting their professional growth and technical expertise.
* Ensure timely project delivery while maintaining high-quality standards.
* Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to promote innovation.
Qualifications :
* Proven experience as a Software Engineering Manager or in a similar leadership role.
* Strong technical background in software development, with expertise in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
* Experience with cloud platforms, microservices architecture, and DevOps practices.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a passion for mentoring and developing engineers.
* Familiarity with automotive or AI-based solutions is a plus but not required.
* Fluent in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
* Based in Germany, with the ability to work remotely.
