Are you a driven commercial leader with a track record of winning new business in contract logistics? Our client - a major player in third-party logistics - is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead growth across Germany and the wider DACH region.
The Role:
You'll be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new contract logistics business with manufacturers, retailers, and e-commerce players. This is a strategic sales role, focused on mid- to large-scale opportunities (multi-million euro contracts) and high-touch solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Generate and convert new business opportunities in warehousing, fulfilment, and value-added services.
* Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders in target clients across automotive, industrial, retail, or FMCG sectors.
* Work closely with solution design, operations, and finance teams to create compelling, tailored proposals.
* Lead contract negotiations and hand over to operational teams post-signature.
* Represent the business at trade events and client meetings throughout Germany and beyond.
About You:
* Proven experience in as a Business Development Manager within the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain space.
* Deep understanding of warehousing, distribution, and value-added logistics.
* Strong network across Germany/DACH and a hunter mindset.
* Willingness to travel regularly for client meetings and site visits.
