Business Development Representative (w/m/d) Join to apply for the Business Development Representative (w/m/d) role at FoxInsights. With IoT, digitalization, and data analytics, we are revolutionizing the energy, mobility, and recycling industries across Europe. Our intelligent remote tank monitoring system optimizes sales, ordering, and delivery processes – creating real value for our customers. We’re hiring a Business Development Representative (m/f/d) to build and scale a new international use case – from first outreach to closing the first paying customers and transitioning the market into our standard business. Responsibilities Pipeline & Outbound Execution Identify, prioritize, and approach international target customers and relevant partners. Run structured outbound (cold outreach, follow-ups, qualification) and build a healthy pipeline. Keep momentum high and manage next steps consistently across multiple stakeholders. Discovery, Value & Closing Lead first conversations and understand customer processes and decision criteria. Translate needs into a clear value proposition and business case. Own opportunities from first contact through offer/business case to closing, including objection handling and stakeholder management. Go-to-Market & Pilot Success Write individualized pitches and sharpen messaging based on market feedback. Prepare pilot phases and guide customers and partners through execution and success criteria. Continuously collect market insights & learnings and refine playbooks. B2B2B Orchestration & Onsite Development Navigate interplay between partners and end customers and keep all parties aligned. Support business development on-site at customers when needed (e.g., key meetings, pilot setup, critical milestones). Document learnings and success patterns to hand over into the standard sales organization. Qualifications 1–2 years of experience in sales (BDR/SDR/Inside Sales) or consulting/customer-facing roles with strong commercial exposure. Proven strength in outbound and/or structured opportunity management through to closing. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to create structure where needed. High ownership and initiative, following through and getting things done. Closing mentality: drive decisions and move deals forward with persistence and clarity. Bonus: understanding of multi-step sales models (partner sales / B2B2B). Fluent in German & English (additional languages are a plus). Willingness to travel nationally/internationally; on-site customer and pilot work is required. Ideal Candidate You enjoy building something from zero and turning ambiguity into a plan. You like working close to customers and can switch between strategy and execution fast. You are energized by early-stage market validation, pilots, and first reference wins.
