IT specialist for system integration
YOUR TASKS
* Supervision of the scientific departments and service facilities
* Installing, configuring and testing computer hardware, peripheral devices and network components as well as operating systems and other software products
* Procurement and management of hardware and software
* Organizing maintenance and repair orders
YOUR QUALIFICATION
* Successfully completed training as an IT specialist specializing in system integration or comparable training
* very good knowledge of Windows clients
* Good knowledge of working with macOS
* Ability to solve problems and document independently
* Distinct service orientation
* Independent and team-oriented work
* Good written and spoken English skills

We, the Max Planck Institute for Medical Research, are one of 84 institutes and research centers of the Max Planck Society for the Advancement of Science e. V. Our focus is on basic medical research. We currently employ around 270 people in science and administration, mainly at our site in Heidelberg. Another location of our institute is currently being built in Heilbronn.
