The role: Reports To : IT Team Leader EMEA Location: Du00fcsseldorf Onsite Position Summary We have an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join a friendly, knowledgeable IT team, to assist with the day-to-day support of users, systems, and infrastructure, this to ensure IT meets all business requirements as well as developing their own career within a rewarding and supportive environment. The role will primarily by based within our forthcoming Customer centre of excellence in Dusseldorf, Germany. The EMEA IT team currently provide remote and onsite support to some 500 staff across 8 sites within the EMEA region and a further 200 users in APAC. It also interacts closely with Bio-Techne IT staff based in North America. Main Responsibilities 1st & 2nd line user support and administration. Assist in rollout of new hardware/software from procurement through to delivery. Manage user onboarding/offboarding requirements. ITSM incident ticket management. General network/infrastructure support. Assist where necessary with any IT-led corporate initiatives including potential European travel. Support customer demos by ensuring local infrastructure, devices, and connectivity are fully functional. Contribute to the build, testing, and maintenance of the new infrastructure at the flagship site, including PCs, cabling, Wi-Fi, and demo equipment. Collaborate with the EMEA IT team (and potentially APAC) to maintain consistency and support across regions. Essential Skills Technical Skills 3u20135 yearsu2019 experience and understanding of IT user/infrastructure environments. Proficient in maintaining and supporting local IT infrastructure, including PCs, networking (TCP/IP), and connectivity. Experienced in managing Active Directory, Group Policy, and other core IT systems. Familiar with cloud-based environments and services. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, fully onsite flagship site environment. Ideally: experience deploying, configuring, and supporting Windows 11, Office 365, and Windows Server 2016. Fluent in German & English. Other European languages a benefit but not essential. Soft Skills Team player with a proactive mindset. Passion for customer service with strong communication and presentation skills. Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills. Professional, confident, and personable. Ability to multitask efficiently and remain calm under pressure.
