Responsibilities
1. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Lead forecasting, budgeting, scenario modeling, and variance analysis to support strategic decisions
2. Budget Management: Oversee operational and project budgets, monitor actuals vs. plan, and provide insights into risks and deviations
3. Costing & Margin Analysis: Deliver standard cost rollups, variance analysis, and cost allocations to support manufacturing and commercial strategy
4. Operational Finance Oversight: Partner with site teams to implement cost control frameworks across material, method, machine, and manpower dimensions
5. Fixed Asset & Investment Management: Manage Capex planning, asset tracking, and investment evaluations (ROI, IRR, Payback), including post-investment reviews
6. Working Capital Optimization: Improve inventory turnover, monitor AR aging and collection risks, and ensure disciplined AP practices
7. Compliance & External Liaison: Ensure adherence to tax and regulatory requirements; act as key contact for auditors, tax advisors, and authorities
8. Group Finance Collaboration: Coordinate with Group Finance and Shared Services to drive process improvements and leverage shared resources
9. Financial Reporting: Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS, including R&D reporting
10. Vendor Management for Reporting: Manage third-party service providers supporting financial reporting, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant report delivery
Profile
11. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; a professional accounting qualification (, CPA, ACCA) is favourable
12. Experience in similar roles with the ability to work independently
13. Proven experience in operational finance in manufacturing industry
14. Strong knowledge of IFRS; basic knowledge in local European accounting standards and tax regulations is highly advantageous
15. Experience with financial systems implementation and process improvement
16. Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
17. Good interpersonal skills and experience in engaging cross-cultural teams
18. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization and external parties
19. Fluent in English, with proficiency in another European language, such as German, being highly advantageous
20. Willingness to travel frequently between Singapore and Europe
