We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive IT professional to join our team in Vienna. In this role, you will be responsible for providing advanced first- and second-line support, as well as handling system administration in a macOS-focused environment with some Windows support.
You will be the key driver behind our day-to-day IT operations, tackling complex troubleshooting, managing assets, and overseeing the entire user lifecycle. Your expertise will help streamline processes, optimize workflows, and ensure smooth IT experiences for the entire team.
Alongside hands-on responsibilities, you will act as a mentor to junior colleagues, sharing your knowledge and guiding them in their growth. With your strong background in tools like Microsoft 365, the Atlassian suite, and Miro, you will play a key role in boosting efficiency and shaping a reliable, future-ready IT environment.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver advanced first- and second-line support, resolving complex hardware, software, and network issues.
- Manage IT requests, incidents, and service tickets, driving efficiency and improvements.
- Administer and optimize collaboration tools (Microsoft 365, Atlassian, Miro).
- Lead endpoint management and security with MDM tools (Intune, Kandji).
- Oversee IT asset lifecycle from procurement to retirement (macOS & Windows).
- Own employee onboarding/offboarding, ensuring smooth, secure transitions.
- Implement and maintain endpoint security best practices.
- Document processes, deliver training, and mentor junior colleagues.
- Monitor systems, handle escalations, and ensure compliance with IT and data security standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Advanced skills in Microsoft 365, Atlassian (Confluence, Jira), and collaboration tools like Miro.
- Expertise in MDM platforms (Intune, Kandji), IT asset management, and ticketing systems.
- Strong knowledge of endpoint security and experience with meeting room/event support.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, supporting both remote and on-site users.
- Proven track record in onboarding/offboarding and user lifecycle processes.
- Analytical, improvement-driven, and enjoy mentoring others.
- Fluency in English (German a plus).
- Preferred Experience in a SaaS/Tech environment
- Nice to have: Relevant certifications (Microsoft, ACSP, Security+) and scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash)
