This role is laser-focused on construction delivery, permitting, and authority liaison. We need someone who can ensure regulatory compliance is met, all permitting processes are fully aligned, and project execution stays on track to meet critical timelines.Key Responsibilities:Own full delivery of construction on-site, acting as the single point of accountability for executionBuild strong working relationships with local German authorities to drive and secure permits and approvalsNavigate complex permitting environments to unblock delays and accelerate delivery timelinesMonitor daily construction activities to ensure alignment with design, compliance, and company standardsAct as the local authority liaison, ensuring all local legal and technical requirements are metPartner with contractors and vendors on-site to drive efficiency and qualityServe as the local expert, knowing exactly who to contact and how to escalate issues within public and utility bodiesProvide regular site updates and risk assessments to leadership to ensure executive alignmentCollaborate with internal teams (Construction, Engineering, Operations), but remain embedded day-to-day on siteKey Requirements:Native German speaker, fluent in both written and spoken communicationBased in or around Frankfurt, with deep local knowledge of the regionStrong existing network within local government authorities, utility providers, and permitting bodies8+ years of experience in construction delivery, preferably in the data center or critical infrastructure sectorProven track record of driving permitting, compliance, and site coordination for complex construction projectsExcellent relationship-building and negotiation skills with external stakeholdersHigh level of accountability, initiative, and precision in fast-paced, time-sensitive environmentsWe operate with No Ego and No Arrogance.
