We are looking for you, located in Trier or 100% remote in Germany as a
Senior Backend Developer Platform (m/f/d)
Your tasks are:
1. Develop and maintain framework components and functionalities for our 3tier application platform
2. Ensure and constantly improve installability, portability, scalability and servicability of our products
3. Deliver re-usable application components that help the organization to monitor and control our backend services
4. Ensure consistency and the way our framework is used
5. Maintain and further develop framework components, such as Application Server Framework, Kubernetes Framework etc.
6. Perform Software design and architecture reviews to evaluate and iterate the designs.
7. Work with both local and international product teams
8. 3rd Level support on complex customer problems
9. Ensure regular reporting wrt. Status and progress
You’ll bring in:
10. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or an equivalent combination of education and working experience
11. Several years of working experience as a software developer
12. Very Strong know how in min 3 of the following technologies: Jakarta Enterprise, Kubernetes, Docker, Java SE, Go, JBoss, Wildfly, Oracle, SQL, PL&/SQL, Networking Infrastructure, Prometheus, JMeter, Grafana, Dynatrace
13. Enthusiasm for modern technologies
14. Experience in Software Design, planning and concept creation
15. Fluent in German (mandatory) and very good English skills
