Job Title: Aircraft Technician Station Support
Aircraft technicians play a vital role in ensuring the safety and reliability of aircraft operations. This dynamic team works alongside skilled technicians who release aircraft for flight and uphold the highest standards of safety.
This role involves accomplishing work on aircraft, systems, and accessories in accordance with relevant technical manuals and instructions. Additionally, you will be responsible for organizing and leading a team of mechanics, planning workload, and managing manpower rosters.
* Accomplish work on aircraft, systems and accessories in accordance with relevant a/c technical manual and instructions
* Organize and lead a team of mechanics, plan the workload and manage the manpower roster
* Run line-stations in accordance with set procedures
* Ensure the work is carried-out following a/c manufacturing procedures and maintenance practices
* Ensure duties are accomplished in accordance with EASA and procedures and standards laid out in the Cargolux Maintenance Manual Exposition (MME)
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Secondary Technical Education or Accomplished Apprenticeship with focus on a/c Mechanics
* EASA AML B1 Certification
* Experience on B747-400 and B747-8 aircraft, minimum 5-7 years
* Open-mindedness, comfort with diverse group of people and cultures
* Fluency in English, other languages an advantage
* Ability to work independently and good team leadership skills
* Good standard knowledge of MS office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Driver's License necessary
