About the Position
As part of the global Multiphysics Simulation (GLOMUS) team, this internship focuses on benchmarking a finite-element method (FEM)-based simulation tool to calculate the short-circuit impedance of distribution transformers.
How you'll make an impact
1. Basic understanding of electromagnetic theory
2. Basic knowledge of transformer design and operation
3. Familiarity with finite-element method simulations, preferably using Ansys Maxwell
4. Basic proficiency in Python
5. Understanding of databases

6. currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related field
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
8. Ability to work independently and in a team enviroment
9. Good communication skills in English and German
