Angestellter (Materialverwaltung) Hohenfels, Germany Ausschreibungsbereich WER DARF SICH BEWERBEN? / WHO MAY APPLY? INNERBETRIEBLICHE Arbeitnehmer in Deutschland. Dies umfasst alle ortsansässigen Beschäftigten der US Streitkräfte, einschließlich Air Force und AAFES-Europe, innerhalb Deutschlands. Current INTERNAL Local National Employees throughout Germany. This covers all current Local National employees of the U.S. Forces in Germany, including U.S. Air Force and AAFES-Europe within Germany. UND/AND AUSSERBETRIEBLICHE Bewerber, die in Deutschland wohnhaft sind. EXTERNAL Local National Applicants, who reside in Germany. Hauptaufgaben Serves as Supply Technician for the Training Support Center (TSC) and performs clerical/technical work in the documentary control of the receipt and/or issue of stock or property items worth of $38 million. Work is performed manually, mechanically, or by automated system. Utilizes stock control clerical procedures, guides and precedent material to reconstruct transactions. Performs supply technical functions and monitors the activities of 125 different types of Visual Information (VI) equipment and 400 different types of Training Aids Devices and Simulators (TADS) devices for the TSC. Processes requisitions for new TADS/VI required at TSC. Orders all supplies and equipment required for TSC TADS/VI, Photo, Carpenter Shop, and Mine Yard. Checks and processes requests for authority (CTA or TDA) before ordering new equipment and supplies. Unpacks and checks incoming shipments for proper quality and quantity before signing receipt at the SSA's, discrepancies will be brought to the Supply Support Activities and supervisors attention. Delivers and issues supplies and equipment to the different sections of TSC. Prepares issue documents for items issued. Accepts, checks, and inventories property turn-in for proper quantity and paperwork. Prepares Requests for Turn-in to SSA and arranges time with the SSA. Receives and requests Lateral Transfers of equipment from other PBO's. Received equipment will be inventoried and checked if paperwork is correct, also if the items are authorized by CTA or TDA. Maintains 14 permanent hand receipts for the TSC with an inventory of $38 million. Maintains also 91 customer's accounts. Prepares Requests for Maintenance and arranges with the companies for one time or yearly equipment survey at TSC. Responsible for keeping records current by posting receipts, issues, adjustments, balances and pertinent information from standard supply documents and/or automatic data cards, calculates supply needs regarding stock level to be maintained, material to be ordered on basis of consumption, experience, information furnished by shop supervisors, outlines of material forecasts for special projects to insure availability of adequate supplies and equipment. Originates requisitions to appropriate supply Source to obtain items required, refers to various supply manuals, manufacturer's and supply catalogs to obtain correct NSN and nomenclature specifies necessary justification and urgency and follow-up on pending requests. Reconciles inventory results and prepares inventory adjustments for discrepancies disclosed by physical inventories. Maintains contact to servicing supply agency for the purpose of clarification of specifications tracing supply and procurement actions. Maintains functional files in accordance with available regulations. Checks incoming Report of Surveys and Statement of Charges for correct stock number or part number, serial number, item description, line number and price, before assigning a document number, and sends surveys to the approving authorities for further action. Exercises and in depth knowledge of proper receipt, issue, storage, rotation, transportation and disposal of Training Aid Devices and Simulators (TADS)/Visual Information (VI) procedures as well as experienced in Property Book Unit Supply Enhanced (PBUSE). Incumbent has knowledge of the Training Support- Material Army-wide Tracking System (TS-MATS). Uses approved automated/web-based software – Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A), Army Records Information Management System (ARIMS), Army Financial Liability Investigation for Property Loss (FLIPL) Tracker (e-FLIPL) to account and manage non-expendable property records. Works directly or indirectly with the TSC's Property Book Office and Training Support Activity Europe Logistics Division by providing appropriate documents required for Turn-In, Lateral Transfers, FOI, AARs or other property management submissions as required by the Property Book Office. Supports the TSC Chief and section managers in properly accounting for assets and submits asset adjustment reports. Manages the application of manual property accounting systems doctrine to provide input to the PBUSE automated system ensuring the maintenance of property accountability audit trails for all transactions. Operates word processing electronic equipment to produce request lists, records, reports, statistics, DF's, correspondence, etc. Devices operated include computer, printer, fax, scanner, proxima, and video telephone conference. Continually monitors equipment to detect malfunctions. Determines cause of malfunction, i.e. operator input error or equipment error and takes corrective action in case of operator input error, notifying supervisor or senior operator of potential program or machine error. Maintains office files, job control and document logs, and compiles operating statistics for reports preparation. Archives documents for storage and future recall. Applies knowledge of the Microsoft Windows programs to the organizations functions and needs to create, update, sequence, arrange, store and recall records and information, recommends changes and improvements to established programs and formats and provides guidance to users on word processes that can be accomplished more effectively through use of the Microsoft Windows. During accomplishment of supply operations at the various local or distant issue and turn in points, is required to operate an automotive or electrical forklift with 4000 lbs. lifting capacity and a light automotive transport vehicle (with automatic or manual transmission) requiring possession of appropriate Drivers License (Class III German) and US Government Motor Vehicle Operators Identification Card. Performs operational maintenance IAW operating manuals, prepares trip ticket, observes traffic and safety regulations and reports vehicle deficiencies immediately to supervisor for initiation of corrective action.. Maintains storage and work areas in clean, orderly, safe and secure condition. Directs activities of helpers and customers to maintain efficient and continuous supply operations. Participates in manual work connected with assigned duties such as loading, unloading, lifting and piling of supplies and materials, and cleaning of storage facilities. Qualifikationsanforderungen C-5: E&T Level I: 2 years of creditable experience as defined in A below PLUS 1 year of experience as defined in B below. Current employees who do not meet E&T Level I and who are not in the same or similar occupation must have 2 additional years of creditable experience as described in A below. E&T Level II: 1 year of creditable experience as defined in A below PLUS 1 year of experience as defined in B below. E&T Level III and above: No additional experience required. Current employees who have served one year in the same or similar occupation are qualified for the next higher grade. Experience A: Included clerical work in an office or store, working with computers, bookkeeping, making and recording inventories, telephone marketing, arranging for events or as a cashier, etc. Experience B: Experience in the same or similar line of work as the job for which considered. The experience must demonstrate that the applicant possesses the particular knowledge, skills and abilities required in the position. The predominant experience must have been gained at a comparable level of difficulty to the position to be filled. • Applicants must be in possession of a German driver's license class B. • Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a forklift operator license. • Office automation skills are required. • GCSS-A (Global Combat Support System - Army) skills desired.
