Job Description:
For our Luxury Fragrance Grouping with the brands Tom Ford Beauty, Balmain Paris, Jo Malone London, Editions de Parfums Frederic Malle, Le Labo, and Kilian Paris, we are looking for a Brand Director DACH management (m/f/d). This role will be responsible for the continuous development and optimization of the brands for the DACH Region.
1. Responsibilities:
o Define, drive, and execute the brand strategy for the DACH affiliate in line with the EMEA / Global strategy.
o Accountability for reaching key brand rankings and market share objectives.
o Develop marketing and sales strategies to maximize sell-through according to market demand.
o Define the brand’s go-to-market strategy across all channels.
o Manage the brand demand plan (12 rolling months) and ensure accurate sales drivers.
o Oversee the implementation of brand identity tools.
o Ensure operational effectiveness and collaborate with partners.
o Lead collaboration between the brand, commercial, digital commerce, and marketing teams to execute the brand strategy effectively.
o Build strong relationships with retailers and internal teams to support brand growth and enhance the consumer journey.
o Support the commercial department in sell-in and sell-out activities and foster relationships with local retailers.
o Drive talent development through leadership, guidance, and management.
o Motivate the team to achieve excellent business results.
2. Qualifications:
o Several years of marketing experience in a global company, preferably in luxury, cosmetics, or FMCG industries.
o Management experience with a focus on managing, coaching, and developing employees.
o Degree in business studies with a focus on marketing, economics, or related fields.
o Experience in brand management across trade, product, consumer marketing, and merchandising, ideally in retail or counter management.
o Experience working in a complex, internationally operating company.
o Good industry understanding and a network of distributors, retailers, and partners.
o Experience in digital, social, and traditional media.
o Fluent in German and English.
