Your Key Responsibilities
1. Provide independent and objective assurance and advisory services to enhance risk management, internal controls, and overall business performance
2. Plan and execute risk-based audits in line with the annual audit plan, covering operational, financial, and IT processes
3. Define audit scope, objectives, and timelines and develop structured audit programs in coordination with the Internal Audit Manager
4. Analyze business processes and identify risks, control weaknesses, and improvement opportunities
5. Perform detailed audit procedures, ensuring high-quality documentation, sufficient audit evidence, and complete working papers
6. Prepare and deliver clear, concise audit reports and presentations for management, including practical and value-adding recommendations
7. Actively engage with stakeholders to discuss findings, challenge processes constructively, and drive improvements
8. Monitor and follow up on agreed actions to ensure timely and sustainable remediation of identified issues
9. Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams to ensure consistency, share best practices, and enhance audit effectiveness
10. Apply analytical thinking, data-driven approaches, and digital tools to improve audit quality and efficiency
Your Qualifications
11. Graduate degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance; MBA is a plus
12. Several years of professional experience in external or internal auditing
13. Strong understanding of audit methodologies, risk management practices, and regulatory compliance
14. Solid knowledge of MS Office; SAP and/or data analytics experience is a plus
15. Professional certification such as CIA, CPA, CFE and/or CISA is a plus
16. Experience in a Big 4 or comparable firm is a plus
17. Advanced level of English and German; additional language is a plus
18. Availability to travel domestically and internationally up to 20% of the time
19. Intercultural and international experience is a plus
