Your roleAs Head of Sustainability at Tanso, you play a crucial role in scaling up Tanso’s thought leadership and direct impact. Leverage your background in sustainability and strategy, with your ability to structure complex business challenges to help the backbone of European industry transform to a more sustainable way of doing business.Our mission is to support producing companies using their sustainability data for better company decisions. Our software platform helps sustainability teams spend less time on reporting to have more time for what actually matters. With Tanso in place, C-level has the analytical insight to holistically drive sustainable transformation.Your responsibility is to enable producing companies to establish processes to track, understand, report and act upon their impacts on the world, embedding sustainability into their business strategy. To do this, you need a strong methodological foundation of regulation and sustainability and experience in corporate strategy.By joining Tanso in a phase of accelerated growth, this role gives you the unique opportunity to work with one of the biggest industry verticals in Europe, implementing a mature yet quickly evolving product to accelerate the decarbonization of hard to abate industries and meeting changing regulations.How you succeedOwn our methodological approaches and back it with researchResearch, structure, analyze, and simplify regulations and sustainability frameworks to develop clear methodological playbooks for our customers and their sustainability challengesClosely collaborate with partner companies such as consultancies, auditors and other stakeholders in the sustainability ecosystem to regularly challenge and update our methodological approach with changing regulatory and market dynamicsScope, start, and monitor research projects for topics such as newly introduced sustainability regulations, carbon pricing, transition plans, and engage with experts to ensure offer state-of-the-art sustainability methodologyEmpower customers with industry best practices, process guidance and data analytics, supporting them in reaching their sustainability goalsCo-develop methodological guidance together with Customer Success to provide customers with insightful content such as guides, checklists or in-app wiki articlesSupport Marketing in cross-checking content for methodological correctness and establish ourselves as thought leaders for sustainability reporting and industrial decarbonizationHelp push adoption, enablement and impact of our product by engaging with customer data, collaboratively working out the business case for sustainable changeLead and scale our team of specialists for research and ensuring a highly effective enablement for internal teams and customersBuild up and lead a team of climate researchers, regulatory specialists, ex-consultants, and ex-auditors leveraging their unique strengths and expertise to create clarity, insight, and impact for our customersClosely collaborate with Product development and Customer Success, with methodological insights to improve our offering end-to-end with new software features, services, or with partnersOwn extraordinary projects with strategic key accounts such as requirement scoping with co-development customers or supporting with Tanso implementation in complex accountsWhy Tanso?Your work helps producing companies integrate sustainability in their decision making.
