THE ROLE
As a working student in the legal department, you will become part of our IT management team, which is responsible for all legal issues as well as data protection and compliance matters within the company. We are an internationally active company with six locations in several European countries and operate in a dynamic, future-oriented environment. In this role, you can apply and further develop your legal knowledge and actively contribute to the growth of our company.
You will support our team in key data protection and legal matters. This includes:
* Processing data protection requests and assisting with the privacy ticket queue
* Reviewing and evaluating contracts and legal documents
* Assisting with internal audits and maintaining the directory of processing activities
* Collaborating with various departments on general legal issues
* Coordinating communication with external lawyers and the external data protection officer
* Participating in the further development of our data protection and compliance processes
YOUR PROFILE
* You are studying law or business law (at least 3rd semester), ideally with a focus on data protection, IT, or contract law.
* You have a good understanding of the basics of the GDPR and are interested in data protection and compliance issues.
* You work carefully, in a structured manner, and reliably.
* You communicate clearly and confidently, both internally and externally.
* You have very good German and good English skills and are proficient in MS Office/Microsoft 365.
* Bonus: Initial practical experience in data protection, IT, or contract law
