Our Excelitas site in Göttingen is the centre of excellence for the development and production of photonics solutions for the semiconductor equipment market. For this highly demanding market, the Göttingen site supplies highly complex opto-mechanical modules, subsystems and components for applications in lithography, wafer inspection, chip bonding and packaging.
In addition, this site manufactures and supplies a broad range of optical and mechanical components, including complete optical systems, to support scientific research and development as well as industrial production.
Your Responsibilities
* Development, planning, and calculation of manufacturing processes for prototypes and small series production (including production coordination)
* Transition of manufacturing processes into a stable series production state
* Optimization of manufacturing processes for series products and internal workflows to improve productivity, efficiency, cost, and quality
* Ensuring series production during process issues in close coordination with production managers, quality assurance, and the business line
* Process engineering support for handling customer inquiries and preparing quotations
* Execution of equipment qualifications and process validations
* Conducting process FMEAs
* Close collaboration with R&D in the development of new processes, measurement, and testing technologies
Your Profile
* Completed technical degree with relevant professional experience
* Extensive knowledge in vacuum and coating technology as well as optical metrology
* Strong understanding of complex technical systems
* Fast adaptation to new topics and a precise, focused working style
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Very good knowledge of Office 365 and SAP
* Experience with Six Sigma and Lean methods is desirable
* Excellent English skills, both written and spoken
