Your role
As one of our two new Communication Experts, focusing primarily on either campaigns management or strategy, you will: Communication campaigns
1. design, plan and manage multi-channel information campaigns for B2B audiences;
2. oversee campaign implementation, coordinating with internal teams, national central banks and external agencies;
3. manage timelines, deliverables and campaign budgets in coordination with external communication agencies;
4. monitor campaign performance, analyse results and propose adjustments to enhance impact;
5. ensure that all campaign materials align with the overall communication strategy and ECB standards.
Communication strategy
6. develop a comprehensive strategy to engage merchants and businesses on the digital euro;
7. identify audience segments, key messages and channels for targeted communication;
8. coordinate with national central banks, internal teams and external partners to ensure a consistent approach across the Eurosystem;
9. provide guidance for campaigns, events and content tailored to different audiences;
10. monitor trends and stakeholder feedback to adapt and refine the communication strategy over time.

Qualifications, experience and skills
Essential:
11. a master’s degree or equivalent in communications, marketing, business or another relevant field (see for details on degree equivalences);
12. in addition to the above, at least four years’ professional experience in B2B communication;
13. proven experience with stakeholder outreach or public affairs;
14. strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with a proven ability to design and implement communication strategies;
15. knowledge of digital campaign tools, analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs);
16. experience in managing projects and relationships with high-level stakeholders, ideally in a complex, multi-country environment;
17. excellent drafting and presentation skills in English;
18. an advanced (C1) command of English and an intermediate (B1) command of at least one other official language of the EU, according to the .
Desired:
19. proven experience in working with creative agencies and managing deliverables and timelines;
20. an understanding of European payments and merchant acceptance ecosystems;
21. experience in running information campaigns at an EU or multinational level.
