Position: Senior Auditor (all genders) Location: Nürnberg (hybrid) Estimated Salary: 80.000€-100.000€* base salary Hours: 40/week Languages: fluent German (C1) & English (B1) Your Role: You plan, coordinate, and conduct audits in areas such as risk management, overall governance, overall bank steering & management, and lending processes, typically in collaboration with a colleague. You ensure independent oversight of business processes, risk management practices, and the implementation and effectiveness of internal controls. You independently support projects and conduct project-related audits, focusing on compliance with regulatory requirements. You follow up on open issues and ensure timely implementation of audit recommendations. You maintain regular communication with audited departments and their leadership and are responsible for preparing and presenting audit reports. You support strategic audit planning and help ensure timely execution of the annual audit program within your area of responsibility. You share knowledge with colleagues and take ownership of specific audit topics. Your Profile: German fluent (C1) and English proficient (B1) The legal right to work in Nürnberg, without visa support Strong experience in auditing financial services and risk management, ideally within internal audit at a financial institution or an audit firm. A university degree in business, economics, or a related field with a focus on auditing, or a completed banking apprenticeship with additional qualifications and relevant experience. Solid knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks and industry standards. Ability to communicate complex information clearly and appropriately for different audiences. A precise and diligent working style, strong analytical skills, and a high level of reliability.
