Group Head of Post-Merger Integration / Business Development
Our client is a leading European provider of outpatient ophthalmology services. Over 6,000 employees work together to deliver high-quality medical care at scale to patients across five countries.
The Role
We are seeking a Group Head of PMI/Business Development to lead post-merger integration across new acquisitions and drive strategic growth initiatives. Reporting to the Group Head of M&A, this role is central to unlocking synergies, aligning operations, and supporting business development across the group.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement integration strategies across newly acquired clinics
* Coordinate cross-functional PMI teams and local leadership in five countries
* Drive synergy realization across finance, HR, IT, and operations
* Lead cultural integration and change management processes
* Track performance via KPIs and report regularly to senior management and investors
* Support new growth projects and strategic BD initiatives
Candidate Profile
* 3–5 years’ experience in M&A, strategy consulting, or transaction advisory (e.g., IB, Big 4, M&A boutique)
* Background in healthcare or services industries advantageous
* Strong academic record (Master’s or equivalent)
* Excellent analytical, strategic, and communication skills
* Professional presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders
* Fluent in English; other languages a plus
