Job Description
In your new role you will:
* Act as the main technical support for the Technical Marketing team in Munich to create the product's value proposition in customer systems during development projects
* Lead product definition (product requirements, involved party requirements, application assumptions) of safety-critical magnetic position sensors
* Following the full documenting process and generating data sheets, user manuals, and safety manuals
* Contributing to marketing strategies by researching market application trends, generating a clear understanding of focus applications, and developing application trend analysis on this
* Interface with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues requiring in-depth product knowledge
* Collaborating with product marketing to define sensor roadmaps
* Generating G2M material (e.g., application notes) and training of e.g. sales teams on product specifications and functionalities
* Answering customer questions and providing technical product support via different channels
* Actively engages with the Technical Marketing team to explore new technologies, best in cost design, etc., to achieve competitive advantages
* Measure Infineon components and implement competitor benchmarking for magnetic sensors in automotive and industrial-related applications
As aPrincipal Engineer Technical Marketing Magnetic Sensors, you stay aware of costs in your decisions and actions and optimize cost-benefit relations. Furthermore, you inspire others with your ideas and explain even complex issues clearly and convincingly. Lastly, you show strong communication skills and know how to establish lasting relationships and networks.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
* A degree from a university ofapplied sciences in Electrical Engineering or comparable
* Advanced experience in handling demanding customers
* Professional working experience with technologies such as TMR, GMR, AMR, and Hall
* Experience in the analysis of measurement data and presentation of results for internal and external stakeholders
* Experienced in explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring understanding and buy-in
* Technical driving skills, results-oriented behavior, and strong communication skills within global teams
* Capability to work independently and provide guidance as well as technical training for internal and external
* Capability to provide regular, concise project updates to team members, stakeholders, and PL management
* Profound knowledge of semiconductors, especially magnetic or inductive sensors
* ISO26262 Functional Safety experience (ideally certified)
* Proven experience in product definition improvement (product requirements, stakeholder requirements, application assumptions)
* Experience with requirements database tools like Jama
* Fluent English communication skills (German would be a plus)
