Key Responsibilities Responsibilities will vary depending on role focus and business structure and may include: Preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning Financial analysis, variance analysis, and performance reporting Oversight of general ledger activities, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end close Supporting management with commercial and strategic financial insights Ensuring compliance with IFRS and German GAAP (HGB) Coordinating with auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders Improving financial processes, internal controls, and reporting accuracy Mentoring or managing junior finance and accounting staff Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field CPA, ACCA, CIMA, Steuerberater, or equivalent qualification preferred (role-dependent) 5–10 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or HGB Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Dynamics, Workday, etc.) Strong communication skills; ability to work with senior stakeholders Leadership capability and readiness for increased responsibility Benefits Private Health Insurance Pension Plan Paid Time Off Training & Development
