We are looking for an SAP SD/CS Consultant for our Weingarten location.Report directly into the IT Director who’s been there for 7 years.As an SAP SD/CS Consultant, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and support of SAP ECC solutions in the Sales and Distribution (SD) and Customer Service (CS) modules. You will work closely with business departments to optimize sales, service, and after‑sales processes, ensuring seamless integration with logistics, finance, and technical teams. In addition, you will implement and monitor interfaces to third‑party systems, primarily related to sales processes.The position reports to the SAP ERP Manager.ResponsibilitiesLead and support configuration, further development, and maintenance of SAP SD and CS modules in the ECC environment, including second‑level support.Collaborate with users to evaluate change requests, conduct feasibility analyses, clarify detailed requirements, create functional concepts, and implement them in SAP configurations (standard or via development specifications).Support customer service processes such as service and repair notifications, service orders, repair handling, warranties, and contract management.Coordinate integration with other SAP modules (MM, FI/CO, PP, WM) as well as connected third‑party systems.Create and review functional specifications for ABAP developments, interfaces, and reports.Conduct unit, integration, and user acceptance tests (UAT) together with key users.Provide user training, documentation, and go‑live support.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and optimization of existing processes and systems.QualificationsDegree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or equivalent qualification.At least five years of practical experience as an SAP SD Consultant in the SAP ECC environment, including second‑level support and project experience.Proven expertise in SD configuration, especially pricing, invoicing, service orders, and warranty processes.Experience in incident and change management.Solid understanding of core business processes, particularly order‑to‑cash, service management, and returns handling, ideally in mechanical and plant engineering.Willingness and ability to work in a highly customized SAP system.Experience with cross‑module integration (MM, FI/CO, PP, WM).Experience implementing and monitoring interfaces to CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), shipping solutions, EDI, etc.Excellent German and English skills.Desired Additional QualificationsAbility to collaborate with external service providers.SAP certification in the SD module.Knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM.Basic ABAP debugging skills (advantageous, no programming required).Knowledge of SAP Basis management (advantageous).Flexible working hours.Mobile working (where possible).BenefitsCompany pension scheme.JobRad bike leasing.Pleasant, collegial, and respectful working environment with short decision‑making paths.Company canteen.Company sports programs, events, and team activities.Seniority levelMid‑Senior levelEmployment typeContractJob functionInformation TechnologyIndustriesTechnology, Information and MediaLocation: Weingarten #J-18808-Ljbffr
