TXT e-Tech, a company of the TXT Group, is looking for a Software Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for operating, maintaining, securing, and evolving the software deployment and operational IT-infrastructure.
The role involves specifying, configuring, and rolling out IT-infrastructure for both the internal development system and end-user systems in the squadrons of the customers in Central Europe.
The Software Engineer will be expected to support a strict configuration management process in order to define and identify baselines of the IT-systems.
Another key responsibility will be to assure compliance of the systems with IT-security guidelines, such as the BSI IT-Grundschutz, by applying appropriate updates, patches, and configurations.
The candidate will be tasked with continuously updating the development systems in line with the evolution of the Mission Planning Systems.
They will also be required to define processes for the reliable and reproducible rollout of new baselines into operation.
This role is part of a highly engaged development team, focused on enhancing the maintainability and operability of the IT Systems, as well as improving the tool-chain that supports them.
Main Responsibilities:
Demonstration of solid work experience (5 years) in securely and reliably operating IT systems is necessary;
Good experience in collaborating with software development teams and integrating with their development and configuration processes is mandatory;
Knowledge in Jira, Git, Bitbucket or Nexus is required;
Several years of experience in implementing Infrastructure as Code in a Windows environment (e.g., using PowerShell, Active Directory, VMware, Baramundi, Ansible) are mandatory
